Show-Day Timeline
The day in one scan
Controlled-access operation begins around Gwanghwamun
The Seoul guide says the perimeter opens with 31 designated entrances, so it helps to decide your approach route before heading out.
Seoul Event Guide ENSecurity checkpoints and seating areas open
The Seoul guide says security screening and seating access start at 3:00 PM, which is the key threshold for standing-line preparation.
Seoul Event Guide ENShow starts — approximately 1 hour
22,000 ticketed attendees inside the venue plus an estimated 260,000 in surrounding areas. The last stretch will feel the most crowded just before showtime.
Weverse NoticeShow ends — phased exit with extra trains
12 extra trains (24 runs) deploy on Lines 2, 3, and 5. Last trains are extended. Walk 1–2 stations away from Gwanghwamun before boarding to avoid the worst crush.
Seoul Event Guide ENUse an exit plan that does not depend on the nearest station
Service restrictions may end, but crowding will still be heavy, so a wider walk-out route is safer than aiming only for the closest station.
Seoul Event Guide ENBefore You Go
What to lock in before you leave for the venue
Identity Check
Confirm which physical IDs are accepted
Accepted documents differ for Korean nationals and international visitors, and photos or copies are not accepted.- Korean nationals: passport, resident registration card, driver’s license, youth ID, or mobile ID
- International visitors: passport or alien registration card
- Guests under 14 are not allowed to apply or enter, even with a guardian
Ticket Rules
Prepare for direct identity verification with no on-site printing
This is a mobile-ticket-only event, and there is no ticket pickup or ticket gifting at the venue.- Mobile ticket only, no printed ticket pickup
- No on-site ticket booth
- Standing entry follows wristband order
- Re-entry is not allowed once you leave during the show
Weather Alert
Expect a 14-degree drop and poor air quality by showtime
Daytime highs of 12–18 °C will fall to around 4 °C by 8 PM. Ultra-fine dust is forecast at 'bad' levels.- Layer up: a warm base, fleece mid-layer, and a windproof outer shell
- Bring a KF94 or KN95 mask for the dust advisory
- Wind chill may feel below freezing after dark — pack hand warmers
- A compact rain poncho is safer than a large umbrella (umbrellas are restricted)
Phone / Power
Your phone is your ticket — if the battery dies, you cannot enter
With 260,000 people in one area, cell networks will be congested. Prepare for limited connectivity.- Charge your phone to 100% before leaving
- Bring a portable power bank (allowed through security)
- Download an offline map of the Gwanghwamun area
- Screenshot your QR ticket and save it to your photo library
- Turn on battery saver mode before entering the venue zone
Show Prep
Album, fan chants, and ARMY Bomb — get ready tonight
New Album
ARIRANG drops March 20 — listen before the show
14 tracks. Their first full-group album in 3.5 years. Knowing the songs will make the live experience hit different.- Release date: March 20, 2026 (the day before the show)
- First complete BTS album since 2022 — expect high emotional energy
- Listen through at least once so you recognize the new songs live
Fan Chants
Learn the member name order — it never changes
The BTS fan chant follows the same order every time. Practice it until it is automatic.- Namjoon → Seokjin → Yoongi → Hoseok → Jimin → Taehyung → Jungkook → BTS!
- Charge your ARMY Bomb and pair it via Bluetooth before leaving (connection may fail in crowds)
- Download the Weverse app for ARMY Bomb sync if you have not already
Arrival Flow
How to move once you actually get there
1. Right Away
Keep your ID and mobile ticket ready in hand
These are the first things most people need to show, so do not bury them deep in your bag.- Check that your name and date of birth match the reservation details
- Only physical IDs are accepted; photos, copies, and student IDs are not enough
2. Security
Clear out large bags and restricted items before you reach screening
The queue slows down fast when people repack at the checkpoint, so simplify your bag before you get there.- Water under 500 mL and official light sticks are the safest items to keep accessible
- Cameras, tablets, selfie sticks, and drones are restricted
3. Standing Area
Protect your wristband and stay aware of your queue position
Standing access is about order and timing, so your wristband and assigned waiting flow matter until entry is complete.- A damaged or lost wristband can create entry problems
- If you arrive late after entry starts, you can lose your original order advantage
4. After the Show
Leave with a wider route instead of forcing the nearest station
Gwanghwamun, City Hall, and Gyeongbokgung will be the most obvious exits, so a one-block detour can save time and stress.- Recheck controlled zones and congestion on Smart Seoul Map
- Use 1330 or 02-6333-0927 if you need help while moving out
Transport
Skip-stop service, road controls, and route links
Subway
Know the skip-stop windows before you leave
The stations closest to the venue may skip service or be partially controlled during the event window.- Line 5 Gwanghwamun Station: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM skip-stop
- Lines 1 and 2 City Hall Station, Line 3 Gyeongbokgung Station: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM skip-stop
- After ~9 PM: 12 extra trains on Lines 2, 3, and 5. Last trains extended. Walk 1–2 stations from the venue for a faster board
Road Closures
Major vehicle controls affect Sejong-daero and the Gwanghwamun area
For most people, transit and walking will be more reliable than trying to arrive by car or taxi near the venue.- Sejong-daero core sections: 9:00 PM on March 20 to 6:00 AM on March 22
- Sajik-ro: 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on March 21
- Saemunan-ro and the Gwanghwamun underpass: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on March 21
Around the Venue
Bus detours and shared-mobility limits matter too
Plan as if the last 500 meters will be on foot, because on-site pick-up options may be more limited than usual.- Seoul says 62 bus routes will be rerouted
- Nearby Seoul Bike stations can close temporarily
- Shared PM and shared e-bike operations may be paused in the area

Nearby
Restrooms, luggage storage, and food near the venue
Restrooms
Know where the nearest facilities are before you need them
Portable toilets will be set up around the venue, but permanent options nearby are faster.- Haechi Madang underground restrooms (south side of Gwanghwamun Square)
- Sejong-ro underground parking restrooms (north side)
- Gwanghwamun Station restrooms (before skip-stop begins at 2 PM)
- Gyeongbokgung Station restrooms (before 3 PM skip-stop)
Luggage Storage
Do not bring a suitcase — large bags are banned at security
Store luggage before heading to the venue. There are no lockers inside the event area.- Subway station coin lockers at Seoul Station, Myeongdong, or Hongdae — arrive early, they fill up
- T Locker app for real-time locker availability across Seoul
- Luggage storage services near Seoul Station and Myeongdong (search 'luggage storage' on Naver Map)
Food & Supplies
Eat before you enter — no food is allowed past security
Convenience stores and restaurants are close by, but expect longer waits on show day.- CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven near Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung stations
- Jongno and Insadong side streets for sit-down meals (10-minute walk)
- Pharmacies stock hand warmers, KF94 masks, and basic first aid
